Does what it’s supposed to do.

I love these training pants, I got 6 of them for my 21 month old who showed interest in potty training. Since I wanted her out of diapers/pull-ups but regular underwear were too thin to contain accidents, these seemed like the perfect choice. They will easily contain 1-2 accidents (maybe more but I always try to catch the accidents early so I’m not sure) and she definitely “feels” the difference. If I put a pull-up on her she will have a lot more accidents but in these she isn’t comfortable being soiled so she will always try to make it to the potty. She likes them, likes the different design and colors and I like them because they are washer/dryer friendly. They are a bit on the smaller side, my daughter is small at 22 pounds and the small ones just fit her around the thighs and waist. I wish I would have ordered one medium size to compare. They are bulky but since it’s summer and my daughter is mostly in dresses, that hasn’t bothered me. All in all, I highly recommend them as a potty training tool.

I ordered the XL after reading reviews that indicated this product ran small…and it is a perfect fit for my son who is 42 pounds. I am not fond of this product because it is VERY pouffy and not very absorbent. I was looking for something for him to wear over night since that is the ONLY time he has accidents. I have found that if I use a padded underwear and then double up with this product, he generally will not leak however, this product alone will NOT absorb enough liquid. Also, because of how pouffy it is, an absorption insert shifts around. For the price…honestly you get the same level of absorption…with less puffiness from the Gerber all in one training pants. Just don’t put the Gerber ones in the dryer.

The product is great – we have some in a smaller size. But the xxlarge is WAY bigger than the weight guidelines. If your child is under 50 pounds, go with the x large.
