Our invention, baby light and clip, came when it comes to through having little success when searching for safety gear in the category of grooming merchandise such as nail clippers primarily safety nail clippers and baby necessities that were geared toward safely for my new baby. With my little guy being a wiggler and it being hard to see just where to clip, it was on going struggle to trim his nails. Most Pediatricians said, “It is best to trim a baby’s nails while they are sleeping.” It was difficult sufficient to see his tiny nails in the daylight much less in a dark or dimly lit room. Talking to Moms, they told me horror stories of how they had without intention cut their child’s finger because they also had a difficult time seeing where to safely trim and keeping their child still. Good concept, poor design

I thought this was a great idea since I never seem to have enough light when clipping my (sleeping) baby’s nails. Unfortunately, because of the way the clipper is fastened into the housing for the light, I am unable to see exactly where I am positioning the clipper on baby’s nails. After several tries, I either missed the nail altogether or clipped skin.

GREAT PRODUCT

I am a professional postpartum doula and one of the scariest things I have to do is clip the nails of newborns. I found this clipper at a client’s house and after using it for her baby, went out and bought one to keep in my purse to clip the nails of the other tinies in my care. I don’t understand the reviews of the ones who said the light didn’t stay on, maybe they are not using it properly? Watch the video… A great product, wish I had invented it!

DON’T BUY THIS ONE

I bought this clipper to replace a different one I had that I had lost. It is terrible. It is awkward to hold and the “safety” guard makes it almost impossible to see where to cut. I found the light unhelpful, as it disappears into the skin when trying to manipulate the clipper. I will go back to the other brand I was using. The light arcs over the top of the clipper, illuminating the whole finger and making clipping quick and easy. I am sorry I wasted my money on this product.
