Good but Dangerous

I bought this after reading some reviews on Amazon. The product itself is good but playing with it might be a little dangerous. My 2 year old got a couple of cuts from the very sharp edges of the blocks, so I put them away for a while. If the manufacturer can round off the edges a bit, then this can be a very useful product.
Another bad thing is the paint that comes off very easily even with little wetness. So, make sure your little one doesn’t put these in their mouth.

TINY – REALLY TINY BLOCKS – DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so very disappointed in this item. I thought the blocks would be much bigger. The blocks are so small, I was afraid my granddaughter would put them in her mouth. I did not even unwrap the item. The block size is right at 1″… DO YOU KNOW HOW SMALL 1 INCH IS??? Melissa & Doug should be ashamed of themselves for putting this item on the market. The blocks SHOULD BE TWICE THE SIZE FOR SAFETY alone. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. IT’S NOT A SAFE TOY.

Not only ABCs!

A big bonus after opening this product was that the blocks had pictures of animals, fruit, veggies, numbers, etc. in addition to the ABCs. Due to the multi-sided blocks, we can play other types of games (including sorting, identification of familiar objects, colors, etc). The blocks are fairly small but do not seem to be choking hazards, and they are stackable for older toddlers. All in all, a great educational toy at a great price in a neat rolling container.
