Not loving it . . . yet
By Sarah R. Lambrecht
I had some Amazon gift cards saved up and thought I would go out on a limb and try out the Grovia system, after hearing my SIL rave about it. I ordered one shell with 2 washable inserts, along with the disposable inserts. Here’s what I found:

Nice design made better
By pghmomma
I’ve been using these since they first came out. They were groBaby back then and I loved the concept of pulling out the insert when only wet and replacing it. The Grovia design has been updated to have a PUL back liner on the insert so it is less likely to get the shell wet. That makes switching out the inserts more realistic. I have no problems with smell as other reviewers have said. I also love that the inserts are so small compared to whole diapers making traveling and laundry easier. They also gave them a higher rise which improves the fit on older babies. Oh and the fact that they are all natural fibers and organic is the reasons i bought them in the first place. I really dislike the terry soakers of most “big” company diapers. I recently sent all of my aplix shells back to natural baby company to be converted to snaps. I like the snaps better although the new design does have laundry tabs to keep the aplix closed during washing. The old design did not stay closed and created a laundry chain everytime so that is a great improvement right there! I find that they are fairly trim and even when adding the booster they stay trim. But my son cannot sleep in them for more than a nap. They do not work for us at night. The colors are great. It seems that this is the only company that has more boy prints and colors than girl ones which is great seeing as I have a son! Plus they are so darn cute! I can’t wait for the new prints to come out in December.
