Cute but edges are stiff

Our nursery theme is Classic Winnie the Pooh, so I was very excited to find this! Unfortunately, the blue edges of the blanket are incredibly stiff and much thinner than they appear in the photo. The rest of the blanket is very cute and soft, but I probably wouldn’t have purchased this in a store if I was able to feel the texture of the edges.

My daughter loves her Piglet!

I bought this as a replacement for a Classic Pooh Blankie that we kept at my daughter’s daycare. After a few months of use that blankie was loved a bit too much and started coming apart. Since I couldn’t find another Pooh blankie, I bought this one. She loves it just as much, if not more, than Pooh. So far it’s held up very well and there don’t appear to be any parts on it that she could choke on (plastic bits, etc). It’s been through the wash several times with no appearance of wear or hanging strings. I’m getting ready to buy a second one to keep at home for naps.
It’s cute, my daughter likes it, makes a great washable lovey.
